There are several insurance carriers out there and many of them provide coverage for ABA Therapy, which is great news! Please check with your insurance carrier or submit via the form below and we will check for you. The Health Insurance Marketplace is an online portal accesible at www.healthcare.gov and offers additional coverage for intensive ABA Therapy. Marketplace plans are available for purchase only during open enrollment periods.  The 2019 Health Insurance Marketplace Open Enrollment for 2019 health plans starts November 1, 2018 first day you can enroll, re-enroll, or change a 2019 insurance plan through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Coverage can start as soon as January 1, 2019. December 15, 2018 is the last day to enroll in or change plans for coverage to start January 1, 2019. Fortunately, WV is a state that recognizes Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as an Essential Health Benefit and required to be covered in Marketplace plans. There’s no limited enrollment period for Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). You can apply any time.
